I could never imagine when I started collecting postcards that I would ever have any cabinet card of Elisabeth. These 3 I own are the only ones depicting Elisabeth that I have seen for sale on eBay.

The portrait which is published on this page of the little Princess Elizabeth of Hesse is one of the prettiest of child photographs, and pussy as come out extremely well. We just hope, if only for the sake of the beautiful little Princess Elizabeth, that the present misunderstanding existing between her parents will soon be a thing of the past. Both the Grand Duke and Duchess of Hesse are devoted to their only child, and the fact that this is the case may make them endeavour to exercise more forbearance when together. Princess Elizabeth completed her third year on March 11, and is extremely advanced for her age, as well as being very pretty and merry.
